Our Vision

Qualifying through the SQE route is a costly endeavour. Students often pay expensive tuition fees only to find that they are unable to learn what they are required to learn largely due to ineffective teaching and insufficient guidance.

At many universities, professors may be experts in their own fields, but they may not be good at teaching. In many cases, they may choose to devote their time to research and publication because this is what gives them fame and gets them promoted. Many universities turn a blind eye to this situation because university reputation and rankings depend very much on their professors' ability to publish.

What makes the situation worse is that some universities and their off-campus teaching centres seek to maximise profits by hiring part-time faculty who are already burdened with full-time jobs and are simply looking to earn extra income. These instructors often go to the teaching centres to deliver lessons after a full day of work, leaving them exhausted. This is far from an ideal situation for both teachers and students.

In addition, universities' pursuit of profit maximisation often leads to over-enrolment. Large class sizes at universities mean that students are unable to receive the individual attention and tailored instruction needed to overcome learning difficulties. Students have diverse learning needs that require personalised support and guidance, but this becomes impossible when there are too many students for professors to manage. Consequently, some students will inevitably be neglected and feel dejected.

In view of the plight law students suffer, we feel that we have a duty to facilitate and simplify legal education by making it an affordable option. Therefore, we aim to offer SQE candidates a more cost-effective way to speed up revision and turbocharge SQE performance. I have to admit I found this offer uol currently presents is incredibly helpful. It gave me an opportunity to check my learning in areas where I have been reading thus far and try my hand at some questions in fields I have yet to further explore. Respectively, the complementary answers are particularly helpful and I liked the fullness of explanations uol provides for each sample question. I signed up yesterday for the full bundle and feel fortunate to have stumbled upon uol and these immensely supportive study guides that I initially came to locate by way of an instagram posting. I have also been supplied with a helpful study guide that includes very helpful focused guidance and the day before I added to these their OSCOLA guide which for me personally, has finally removed that confusing veil of trying to follow a different reference format to the familiar Harvard reference model. I would definitely recommend these free sample questions and from what I’ve seen of the turbocharge notes I would say that they are all first rate resources to draw upon. What’s thst saying don’t dither, don’t dally just DO. So I did and now I enjoy referring to these as I ‘DO’ get on with reading law these free samples are well worth checking out and the turbocharge Notes are worth checking out too.
